Whether he "walked out" of the room or was "just leaving," it seems that President Obama is learning how infuriating these kind of negotiations can be.
It still occurs to me that if on the night of the midterms, President Obama had summoned the White House press corps and announced that he'd offer up over a trillion dollars in cuts, tweak social security and raise the medicare eligibility age by two years, GOP leaders would've said quickly, "where do we sign?"
Evidently not anticipating this Marxist in sheep's clothing would willingly do anything approaching serious cuts, when Obama did exactly that-it seems to have caught the loyal opposition by surprise. This is a huge win for the GOP, all they have to do is claim victory...

Frustration, political move or something else?
ReplyDeleteThe biggest concern is that nobody can find a middle path, and without that road, the only path still available is a road to hell for the middle class. I no longer care who is right or wrong, I care about getting the job done. If we running a company, and these guys were hired consultants, we would fire them all
is the only option open to us to put pressure on our elected officials? When you send Tim Murphy an email, it comes back with a link to where you started telling you you didn't format correctly. I didn't format correctly? whoever is running his government website formatted it incorrectly. So I called. I called everybody... too much time on my hands is not good, but this is effing stupid now.
