New Rules for Robocalls...


The Federal Communications Commission has announced new regulations that will make it harder for telemarketers to disturb consumers. Prior consent will now be required before marketers can contact a home telephone line. Also added is a requirement that consumers be provided an "opt-out" feature to be able to stop receiving these kind of calls, plus limits on the number of "dead air" calls a firm can make within a defined period of time.
